1. EMTB TOUR TO THE MALGA SAN SILVESTRO HUT

Start from the Bike Hotel Alpenblick****s on the cycle path to San Candido (1,150 ), from there continue along the cycle path along the River Drava until Dobbiaco, (1,210 ) up to the railway station. Pass the railway station to the main road, cross this and cycle for about 2 km on the cycle path towards Brunico. After the railway underpass turn right towards Dobbiaco Alta, following the Stoneman sign continue into the Silvestro Valley, passing the Rifugio Genziana up to the Malga S. Silvestro hut (1,800). After a short rest at the mountain hut, continue to Silvestro Square, turn left onto the road towards Prato alla Drava/Versciaco. In Versciaco (1,100), then take a forest road towards Monte Elmo up to the fork Ristoro Waldruhe (1,500) high above Sesto. Again, it is worth making a stop on the terrace to enjoy the Sesto mountain sundial in the forthcoming afternoon sunshine. From there, go back to Sesto/Moso to the starting point at the Bike Hotel Alpenblick ****s.
