4. MTB TOUR AROUND THE DOLOMITES VILLAGE

DREAM PANORAMA AROUND THE VILLAGE OF THE THREE PEAKS
Start in Sesto/Moso at the Bike Hotel Alpenblick ****s on the cycle path towards San Candido, past the “Gasthaus Alte Säge” and after about 2 km after the entrance into Val Campo di Dentro turn left towards Baranci (1,500). Passing the former Bagni di S. Candido (1,350), a wide and physically challenging forest road leads to Baranci. From here, follow a flowing trail past the Jora Hut (1,350) towards San Candido (1,150). A short detour into the village of San Candido and then it really gets going with a very challenging ascent along the castle road to Baita del Cacciatore (1,800) and from there to Monte Elmo (2,040). Then, enjoy a pleasant descent via the Rifugio Larice to Mezzomonte, turning left onto the hiking trail no. 13 towards Alpe di Nemes to the Rifugio Pendio Monte Elmo (1,700). After a short rest, continue via the Trojerhöfe farmhouses back towards Sesto/Moso to the Bike Hotel Alpenblick ****s.
