6. MTB TRAILMANIA MONTE ELMO TRAIL & ERLA TRAIL

Start in Sesto/Moso from the Bike Hotel Alpenblick ****s towards the main village of Sesto to the parish church and from here take the panoramic road to Mezzomonte (1,600 km). Turn left towards Rifugio Larice (1,800) and continue to the Monte Elmo mountain station (2,040). From here, continue to the Rifugio Gallo Cedrone hut (2,150) and then along a wide, easy cycle path to the Rifugio Sillianer hut at 2,450 metres. From here, the path continues steeply uphill with 50 m difference in altitude, follow the “Stoneman” signs to Monte Arnese (2,500), turn right onto the Monte Elmo Trail where the “fun part of the trail” starts right into Negerdorf (1,700). Turn left and onto forest path no. 13 for about 2 km towards Alpe di Nemes. After the tunnel, turn right into the second part of the Erla Trail. Another absolute trail highlight to the cablecar station of the "Drei Zinnen Bahn". At the Henn-Stall hut, turn right and follow the hiking trail in the direction of Moos, back to the starting point at the Bike Hotel Alpenblick ****s.
