9. MTB TOUR OF MOUNTAIN PASTURE

Start from Sesto/Moso Bike Hotel Alpenblick ****s via the forest path no. 13 towards Alpe di Nemes. After a hard ascent of around 40 minutes, you will reach the “Saumad” highland (1,750), go left to the Malga Klammbach hut (1,940). This is also a demanding stretch, where after around 30 minutes you can enjoy the fantastic view of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo from the mountain hut.
Above the Klammbach-Alm Hut, take path no. 13 to the Nemesalm (1,900 m), after approx. 2 km turn left onto the hiking trail, this trail is partly technically demanding with a carrying section of approx. 100 metres, but it is definitely highly recommended . (for those who are not so technically experienced, simply stay on the forest road)
Once at the Malga Alpe Nemes hut, turn left shortly before the hut and take the wide route no. 146 into the high valley. After around 2 km, turn right to the Coltrondo hut.
From the Coltrondo-Alm Hut take the road for about 2km and then turn right into the forest on hiking trail 149 in the direction of the Kreuzbergpass, past the Lake “Lago di Rospo”.

At the Alpe di Nemes/Malga Coltrondo crossroads, turn right into hiking trail no. 130 towards “Schwarzsee”. Turn left towards the Caravan Park, the trail from here is again a cool, partially challenging trail with lots of roots passing the Caravan Park to the valley station of the “Tre Cime di Lavaredo cable car” and the “Pollaio Hut”. Turn right at the “Pollaio Hut” and the Sesto circular path takes you back to Sesto/Moso to the Bike Hotel Alpenblick ****s.
