3. EMTB TOUR OF THE MOUNTAIN PASTURE

Start from Bike Hotel Alpenblick **** s along the forestry road no. 13 to Malga Alpe Nemes hut (1,870). This is approximately 7 km, the first 4 km of which are relatively steep. Once at the hut, we recommend stopping at “Otti and Klara”. From the mountain hut then cycle back for around 200 m, turn right onto route 146 towards Passo Silvella take the “Coltrondoalm” fork, turn right and then continue for around 4 km up to the Coltrondo hut (1,880). This typical mountain hut is also worth stopping at. Then continue for around 1 km along the road to the 2nd fork towards Passo di Monte Croce di Comélico (Please note: do not take the 1st fork as this is technically very difficult) along the path and passing the “Krotensee”. Arriving at the Passo Monte Croce (1.610), drive about 500 meters on the road in the direction of Sexten and then turn left onto hiking trail no. 18 to the "Rotwandwiesen" on the way there you will pass the "Schellab-Alm". On the "Rotwandwiesen" 2 huts invite you to stop, then it goes from the mountain station via a forest road in the direction of "Bad Moos" to the valley station of the Rotwandwiesenbahn and then back to the starting point at the Bike Hotel Alpenblick ****s.
