9. EMTB BIKETOUR TO THE BUNKERS AT ARZALPENKOPF

AN ABSOLUTE BIKE-EXPERIENCE WITH AN HISTORICAL UNDERGROUND
Italians dug a huge bunker into the walls of the Arzalpenkopf, with an access road and hidden tunnel. A historical panoramic tour with a technical final section.

Start from Sexten/Moos Bikehotel Alpenblick ****s
via forest road 13 to the "Signaue valley station", from there we take the "Drei Zinnen cable car" to the "Stiergarten". Fantastic views of the "Three Peaks" are the introduction to this wonderful biking experience.

Then we head towards the "Nemes-Alm" and over the "Coltrondo-Alm" towards the "Kreuzbergpass". From there downhill to the "Val Grande", from where the route continues from the "Lunelli Hut" along an old military road to the "Arzalpenkopf". After visiting the bunkers, the route continues over a technically difficult trail across the "Bärensee" to the "Kreuzbergpass". Then back via the "Caravan-Park" site to bike back to Sexten/Moos Bikehotel Alpenblick****s.
