ROUTES INFO STONEMAN TRAIL
THE ROUTE IS THE TARGET
The STONEMAN Trail is a biking experience that starts with a dream and ends with a profound experience
The Stoneman Trail Dolomiti
The track is 115 km long, has 4,000 vertical meters and is marked. From any start date from June to September you have a maximum of 3 days to reach all checkpoints, stamp the various symbols on the bracelet and win one of the trophies. For final inspection and award you have to return to the issuing office. In four different places you can get into the Stoneman Trail and buy the starter pack with stamping bracelet, map and height profile and giveaway. Anyone who makes the challenge in a day, two or three will be called a finisher on Stoneman's homepage, and will receive a one-time Stoneman trophy that Roland Stauder created and crafted specifically for this project.
Important tips:
In order to master the STONEMAN trail in three days, you should be able to tackle daily stages with 1,500 vertical meters. The climbs are sometimes very steep! The 10 km long humility passage is the technically most difficult part. Dizziness and sure-footedness are required! At about 1 km there is a risk of falling! Mountain biking is a risky sport and the ride on the Stoneman Dolomiti is at your own risk. There is a possibility to drive the Stoneman Dolomiti, even without the humble passage! The official route I provided with green Stoneman ground markings. Good orientation skills or GPS are an advantage. You will receive the GPX data and information via e-mail.
